How Many Qualifications Does NSFAS Fund

Many South African students desiring to further their education rely on the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS). NSFAS, which was founded with the goal of giving financial assistance to students who may not have the resources to pay for their studies, plays a critical role in making tertiary education accessible to a larger variety of people.

Undergraduate qualifications, such as bachelor’s degrees, national diplomas, and national certificates, are predominantly funded by NSFAS. It also helps with National Certificate Vocational (NCV) programs and, in certain situations, postgraduate courses.
