NSFAS UNISA
NSFAS UNISA
The University of South Africa (UNISA) is well-known for its dedication to providing affordable education. As one of the world’s oldest and biggest colleges that only offers distance education, UNISA allows students to pursue their academic aspirations while still managing employment and family obligations.
UNISA’s dedication to outstanding education, paired with NSFAS’s financial assistance, creates a formidable partnership for South African students.
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) is a South African government initiative that provides financial aid to students who would otherwise be unable to attend higher education institutions. It provides hope to thousands of ambitious students by levelling the playing field and ensuring that education remains a right, not a privilege.
However, NSFAS provide funding to Public universities and TVET Colleges, therefore UNISA brings, a public university that receives funding from NSFAS to assist students financially.
