Which Colleges Offer NSFAS In Gauteng 2026

If you’re a student living in Gauteng, South Africa, and you want to further your studies but don’t have enough money to pay for your education, there’s good news. The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) is a government program that helps students who can’t afford the costs of going to university or college.

NSFAS is funded by the Department of Higher Education and Training and is meant for students from families with low income. It gives them the chance to get a higher education without worrying about how to pay for it. With the help of this bursary, many students can cover important costs like tuition fees, accommodation, textbooks, and other necessary study materials.

This financial support is available to students who are accepted into public universities and TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) colleges across South Africa, including those in Gauteng. If you meet the requirements, NSFAS can make it possible for you to reach your academic goals and build a better future, even if money is tight. So, if you’re dreaming of studying further but are unsure how to fund it, NSFAS might be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.
