NSFAS How To Upload Documents

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) is important in assisting South African students in achieving their higher education goals by providing financial assistance to eligible students. Documents Required to Apply For NSFAS

NSFAS Applicants are required to upload and submit documents as a support system to back the information provided on the application form. Therefore, the following documents must be uploaded;

Copy of student ID / Birth certificate
Copy of parent/s or guardian/ spouse ID
Smart card: both sides of the card required
Proof of income (where applicable)
Persons living with disability (Disability Annexure A form)
An applicant who is recognised as a vulnerable child by the Department of Social Development must provide a completed Vulnerable Child Declaration form completed by a social worker
An applicant who has indicated that s/he has no family member details and or abridged birth certificate must complete the Declaration: Non-SASSA.

How To Upload NSFAS Documents

Follow the detailed steps below to upload your supporting documents;

Visit the NSFAS website at www.nsfas.org.za
Log in to your account using your username and password.
Navigate to the “MyNSFAS” portal
Select “Upload Documents”
Select the documents you wish to upload
Click on the “Upload” button for each document category
Review the uploaded documents to ensure they are accurate
Submit your documents.

NOTE: Before you begin, make sure you have all of the necessary documentation. To prevent delays in processing, ensure that the documents are clear, readable, and meet the necessary size and format standards.
