NSFAS For Private Colleges

NSFAS For Private Colleges

Private colleges are educational institutions that are privately owned and operated, as opposed to government-funded and governed institutions. These colleges and universities provide a diverse range of educational programs and degrees, frequently focusing on certain fields of study or offering specialized training. Private colleges can provide a variety of educational levels, including postsecondary education and vocational training. NSFAS funds 26 universities and 50 TVET colleges. However, NSFAS does not aid private universities; this program is intended for students from low-income families yet private colleges are very expensive.
