Colleges With NSFAS 2026

Do you want to go to college or university in South Africa but feel unsure because of the cost? You’re not alone, and that’s where NSFAS can help. The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) is a government-funded program that helps students from low-income families get the financial support they need to study further.

NSFAS is meant for students who want to study at public universities or TVET colleges in South Africa but cannot afford the fees and other costs. If you qualify, NSFAS can pay for your tuition, accommodation, learning materials, and even your meals and transport. This support gives you the freedom to concentrate on your studies instead of worrying about how to pay for everything.

The great thing about NSFAS is that it offers bursaries, not loans. As long as you follow the rules and keep up with your studies, you don’t have to pay the money back. This gives you a strong start in life without any debt holding you back. So, if you’re serious about your education and determined to succeed, NSFAS is here to give you the support you need. Don’t let money stop you from chasing your dreams—NSFAS exists to make education accessible for all South Africans.
