Can a 35-Year-Old Apply For NSFAS?

Can a 35-Year-Old Apply For NSFAS?

YES. A 35-year-old can apply for NSFAS. NSFAS has no age limit provided you meet the requirements for the scheme.

For NSFAS, there is no formal definition of the age eligibility requirements. NSFAS has a more open-minded philosophy than certain scholarships or financial assistance programs that focus largely on young students just out of high school. Although many NSFAS recipients are in fact in their late teens or early twenties, the program’s rules make no reference to a precise upper age restriction. This implies that, if they complete the other eligibility requirements, a 35-year-old is potentially eligible to apply for NSFAS funding.
