Who Cannot Appeal For NSFAS 2024?

Students cannot bring forward an appeal if they:

• Are enrolled in a program that NSFAS does not fund;
• They have completed N+2 (or N+3 for students with impairments).
• The student is a gap year student who was previously refused financial aid by NSFAS due to academic qualifying criterion violations.
• Inquiries should be made to the institution if they have not submitted their registration record to NSFAS or if they have submitted an inaccurate registration record.

NB: A student must file an appeal within 30 days of receiving the results of their application. He or she must first log in to his or her myNSFAS profile and provide the relevant information before submitting an appeal.
