Who Is Not Eligible To Petition For The 2025 NSFAS
Students cannot bring forward a petition if they:
- Are registered in a program that NSFAS does not fund;
- They have completed N+2 (or N+3 for students with impairments).
- The student is a gap year student who was previously refused financial aid by NSFAS due to academic qualifying criterion violations.
- Inquiries should be made to the institution if they have not submitted their registration record to NSFAS or if they have submitted an inaccurate registration record.
Take Note: A student must file for a petition within 30 days of receiving the results of their application. He or she must first log in to his or her myNSFAS profile and provide the relevant information before submitting a petition.
